Information
Training & Course Terms
These terms apply to training provided by ProMediate (UK) Limited trading as ProMediate Training, and to use of this website.
Last updated: August 2026
Enquiries and registrations of interest
Submitting an enquiry or registering your interest does not reserve a place on a course and does not create a contract. A place is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing and any required fee or deposit is paid.
Fees and payment
Course fees are stated on the Course Dates & Fees page for each published course and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Any early-booking fee applies only where a course shows an early-booking deadline and payment is received by that date. Fees for bespoke organisational training are quoted individually.
Cancellation by you
Cancellation terms are set out in the booking confirmation for each course. Where you are a consumer, your statutory cancellation rights are unaffected. Substituting another delegate is normally possible where we are told in good time before the course begins.
Cancellation or change by us
We may need to change the date, venue, delivery method or trainers for a course, or to cancel a course, for example where minimum numbers are not reached. If we cancel a course we will offer a transfer to another date or a refund of fees paid for that course.
Course content and outcomes
Course content is subject to reasonable variation. Training is provided to recognised professional standards, but completion of a course does not itself guarantee accreditation, registration, mediation appointments, paid mediation work, or appointment to any ProMediate mediator panel. Any post-course development opportunities are offered subject to availability and applicable professional requirements.
Delegate conduct and confidentiality
Mediation training involves realistic role-play and personal feedback. Delegates are asked to treat other delegates with respect and to keep confidential anything shared by other participants during training.
Website use
The content of this website is provided for general information about our training and is not legal advice. Content is owned by ProMediate (UK) Limited and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability in relation to a course is limited to the fees paid for that course. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
